TTT: Books That Make Me Hungry

Time for another Top Ten Tuesday: Brought to you by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

Books That Make Me Hungry


For this week I have a mixture of books with yummy food on the cover, as well as books that feature yummy food.


1. Cupcakes, Trinkets and Other Deadly Magic


This is actually an awesome Urban Fantasy series (book 1 is perma-free on Amazon so go try it) and the MC owns a bakery called Cake in a Cup. The flavours and descriptions are all amazing and you can get the recipes from the authors website!



2. Dragon Marked

Another kick-ass Urban Fantasy where the MC Jessa is a werewolf. She loves food so much and she especially loves cake and I love her and its awesome.




I absolutely love this series! We have another MC who loves baking, and she literally makes a deal with a demon for protection in exchange for cookies! It's amazing.




The MC in this is a Chocolatier. I haven’t read it yet but I love chocolate so much and the cover looks delicious!



This list just wouldn't be complete without Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and I'm sure I'll see it on many other lists today.

    I love how you found books in your genre. I read A Dash of Magic in July which would probably qualify for (1) being a fantasy and (2) involving cooking/baking.

    I'm up for (almost) anything chocolate! My imagination (and taste buds) went wild when I first read CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. A chocolate factory sounded like absolute heaven :)

    These books look like fun! I just listened to The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory and one of the main character's best friends owns a cupcake shop, so there was a lot of cupcake eating in the book. We actually had cupcakes from a bakery at work while I was listening to it, but I gobbled it up before taking a photo for Instagram!

    I can't believe I forgot Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I want to try all of the sweets in the factory. :)

    Oh gosh, you open up with a cupcake. Whyyy? It looks so delicious. <3 I want one. Someone should make me cupcakes now ...

    Taming Demons For Beginners sounds like a great book, and I absolutely love that cover! Definitely gonna add that to my TBR. I'm so curious about any demon that would make a deal for cookies haha.
